Cristina Vieira \u00e9 Doutorada em Sociologia. Professora Associada na UAb (Universidade Aberta, em Portugal), leciona em diferentes graus acad\u00e9micos (Licenciatura, P\u00f3s-Gradua\u00e7\u00f5es; Mestrados e Doutoramentos), onde tem vindo a implementar novas \u00e1reas de aprendizagem e novas UC a partir das \u00e1reas da Sexualidade, Jovens e G\u00e9nero – desenvolvendo novas tem\u00e1ticas.  
 
\u00c9 membro Integrada Centro de Estudos Globais (CEG-UAb) – onde integra a Coordena\u00e7\u00e3o do Grupo Antropoceno, Sustentabilidade e Desenvolvimento (ASD\/CEG). \u00c9 membro colaboradora no Centro Interdisciplinar de Estudos de G\u00e9nero (CIEG\/ISCSP-ULisboa) e no Centro de Estudos das Migra\u00e7\u00f5es e das Rela\u00e7\u00f5es Interculturais, da Universidade Aberta (CEMRI-UAb). 
 
A partir das tem\u00e1ticas sexualidade e g\u00e9nero, tem investido no conhecimento da realidade social nas vertentes das identidades e express\u00f5es, riscos e vulnerabilidades, viol\u00eancias de g\u00e9nero, bem-estar e sa\u00fade, dando origem a v\u00e1rias publica\u00e7\u00f5es cient\u00edficas (artigos, livros, cap\u00edtulos de livros e recursos pedag\u00f3gicos). Participa em diferentes Redes e Grupos cient\u00edficos internacionais (entre outras: a Rede de Estudos Globais das Juventudes; Rede NAUS…). Integra equipas interdisciplinares em Projetos de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, internacionais e nacionais – mais recentemente: Boomerang, IRIS, Lights4Violence, MEDUSA, Viol\u00eancias Juvenis e Educa\u00e7\u00e3o e elearning em Estabelecimentos Prisionais: m\u00faltiplas configura\u00e7\u00f5es das sexualidades e das masculinidades, em contexto Prisional. S\u00e3o projetos direcionados para os modelos de masculinidades hegem\u00f3nicas, nas perce\u00e7\u00f5es do impacto econ\u00f3mico da partilha desigual do trabalho n\u00e3o pago nas vidas de mulheres e homens imigrantes, nas trajet\u00f3rias de vida das pessoas LGBTI v\u00edtimas de viol\u00eancia dom\u00e9stica, na viol\u00eancia no namoro, e no bullying homof\u00f3bico e nas m\u00faltiplas configura\u00e7\u00f5es das sexualidades e das masculinidades. Faz parte da Coordena\u00e7\u00e3o da sec\u00e7\u00e3o tem\u00e1tica Sexualidade e G\u00e9nero, da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Portuguesa de Sociologia (APS) . 
 
Foi distinguida, no ano 2022, com o \u201cPr\u00e9mio de Incentivo \u00e0 Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o Cient\u00edfica\u201d, atribu\u00eddo pela Universidade Aberta, – pr\u00e9mio de reconhecimento de excel\u00eancia na investiga\u00e7\u00e3o e produ\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edficas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cristina Vieira has a PhD in Sociology. Associate Professor at UAb (Universidade Aberta, in Portugal), teaches at different academic degrees (Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Degrees; Master’s Degrees and Doctorate Degrees), where she has been implementing new areas of learning and new UCs from the areas of Sexuality, Young People and Genre – developing new themes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is a member of the Integrated Center for Global Studies (CEG-UAb) – where she is part of the Coordination of the Anthropocene, Sustainability and Development Group (ASD \/ CEG). She is a collaborating member at the Interdisciplinary Center for Gender Studies (CIEG \/ ISCSP-ULisboa) and at the Center for Migration Studies and Intercultural Relations, at the Universidade Aberta(CEMRI-UAb).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on the themes of sexuality and gender, it has invested in knowledge of social reality in the areas of identities and expressions, risks and vulnerabilities, gender-based violence, well-being and health, giving rise to several scientific publications (articles, books, book chapters and pedagogical resources). She participates in different international scientific Networks and Groups (among others: the Global Youth Studies Network; NAUS Network\u2026). She is part of interdisciplinary teams in international and national research projects – most recently: Boomerang, IRIS, Lights4Violence, MEDUSA, Youth Violence and Education and elearning in Prisons: multiple configurations of sexualities and masculinities, in a Prison context. These are projects focused on models of hegemonic masculinities, on perceptions of the economic impact of the unequal sharing of unpaid work on the lives of immigrant women and men, on the life trajectories of LGBTI people who are victims of domestic violence, on dating violence, and on bullying. homophobic and in the multiple configurations of sexualities and masculinities. She is part of the Coordination of the Sexuality and Gender thematic section of the Portuguese Sociology Association (APS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
