The DIGITHUM project is a research group within LE@D – the Open University’s Distance Education Laboratory – in area 3 – Education and issues in the post-digital era. Its main objective is to develop research in the field of Digital Humanities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group was created in 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, and the researchers and doctoral students who are part of DIGITHUM have presented several papers, participated in congresses and combined research with teaching activity, precisely on Digital Humanities, in master’s and doctoral courses at Universidade Aberta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DIGITHUM essentially aims to promote initiatives in Digital Humanities, having recently presented the COMIDI project (Digital communication and image), which aims to identify the transformations that occur in the transition from digital to post-digital, focusing on digital communication and images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a focus on digital communication and image, the aim is to reflect on 4 specific domains:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Interactive books: tales, legends, memories (material and immaterial)

\u2013 Digital genres

\u2013 Digital heritage: reconstitution, digital artifacts

\u2013 Artificial intelligence: paradigms of digital human-machine interaction<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DIGITHUM group is part of the CIPSH Chair on Digital Humanities in Education, which has been approved by UNESCO’s International Council for Philosophy and Human Sciences<\/a>.

O projeto DIGITHUM \u00e9 um grupo de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o integrado no LE@D \u2013 Laborat\u00f3rio de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o a Dist\u00e2ncia da Universidade Aberta \u2013, na \u00e1rea 3 \u2013 Educa\u00e7\u00e3o e problem\u00e1ticas no p\u00f3sdigital. Tem como principal objetivo desenvolver trabalhos de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o no \u00e2mbito das Humanidades Digitais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O grupo foi criado em 2020, em plena pandemia, e os investigadores e doutorandos que integram o DIGITHUM t\u00eam apresentado v\u00e1rios trabalhos, participado em congressos e conciliado a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o com a atividade docente, justamente sobre Humanidades Digitais, em cursos de mestrado e de doutoramento na Universidade Aberta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O DIGITHUM visa\u00a0essencialmente promover iniciativas em Humanidades Digitais, tendo recentemente apresentado o projeto COMIDI (Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e imagem digitais),\u00a0que\u00a0visa identificar as transforma\u00e7\u00f5es que ocorrem na transi\u00e7\u00e3o do digital para o p\u00f3s-digital, privilegiando a comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e a imagem digitais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
