History of LE@D


March 2007

In the scope of the Strategic Programme for Innovation in Distance Learning (Action 11) (2006-2010) implementation, a working team to establish the LE@D was formed. This team reported directly to the Dean for Innovation, Professor António Teixeira.

Appointed by Rectoral Order no. 61/R/2007 on February 27, 2007 by the Rector Professor Carlos Reis, the Innovation team was designated by the Commission to Establish the Laboratory of Distance Education (LEaD) and was composed of the following Open University researchers and technicians:

1st visit of the International Consulting Committee to the Open University. Working meetings with the UAb International Consultative Committee consisting of:

2nd visit of the UAb International Consultative Council.
