On the 27th of September, at 18:00, in the Municipal Library of spiers, a book of tribute to the work of Professor Teresa Ambrose, in which participates as author will be presented, a researcher at the LE @ D, Claudia Neves, with a chapter.
The book is entitled Research, Education and Development, revisiting the thinking of Teresa Ambrósio, and will be edited by Editora Colibri.
Within the framework of the ObLID Network (www.contemcom.org), the cycle of webinars CO (I) NCIDIR with the theme “Building digital citizenship in the network” begins on September 26 at 15,30h (PT). This cycle aims to create spaces for debate and reflection on the meanings of research and practices of digital citizenship. On a monthly basis, the online seminars are promoted by the ObLID Network, which is based at LE@D, Universidade Aberta. Participation is free but with registration.
The first webinar is with Professor Joe Straubhaar, University of Austin, Texas (USA). He is the director of the Latin American and Latin American Media Studies program at the University of Texas at Austin. Researcher in the area of globalization of television, new media and digital inclusion, his main research focuses on global television, BRICs, television in Brazil and Latin America, digital exclusion in Brazil and Texas.
