Outcomes

The WAY project aimed to promote self-regulated learning among upper secondary school students through a peer observation and feedback program. Based on iterative cycles of Design-Based Research (DBR), the project integrates innovative pedagogical practices, combining metacognitive skills, critical reflection, and student participation in the transformation of educational practices. Four school clusters from the central and northern regions of Portugal participated, in collaboration with researchers from four higher education institutions. The project sought to implement the intervention, monitor self-regulation skills, and explore students’ perceptions regarding participation opportunities.
