Anabela Caetano Santos is a postdoctoral researcher in Education at the Laboratory of Distance Education and eLearning (Le@d) at the Portuguese Open University.
She has a degree and a master’s degree in Psychomotor therapy from the Faculty of Human Kinetics (FMH) of the University of Lisbon (ULisboa), a master’s degree in Sciences on Emotions from ISCTE- University Institute of Lisbon and a PhD (with double degree) in Education – Expertise in Health Education from FMH, ULisboa and in School Psychology and Human Development from the Institute of Psychology at the University of São Paulo (Brazil).
She collaborated on national and international projects, some of which included teacher training, examples: RESCUR – Resilience European Curriculum, EENRETE – Enhancing Resilience Through Teacher Education, PROMEHS: Promoting Mental Health at Schools, G.I.F.T.E.D – Game and Inclusion For Teacher Education, and currently WAY: Who Saw You Then and who sees you now).
Her main research interests include social and emotional learning (emphasising emotion regulation), resilience, mental health and student engagement.
