Artur Oliveira is a researcher in the WAY project and a collaborating member at the Center for Educational Research and Intervention (CIIE) of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCEUP).
He has a degree in Geography from the Catholic University of Salvador (Brazil) and a master’s degree in Education, specializing in Education and Digital Technologies, from the Institute of Education (IE) of the University of Lisbon (UL). He is currently a PhD student in Education, specializing in Educational Administration and Policy at IE-UL.
As part of the Erasmus+ Doctoral Internship, he was part of the Research Group on Comparative Education and Educational Policies at the Faculty of Education of the University of Salamanca (2021/2022) and collaborated in the Learning and Teaching at a Distance in Time of Pandemic Project (AEDTP) developed by IE-UL (2022).
He has teaching experience at primary and secondary education levels in Brazil and Portugal, and higher education, in Spain. His main research interests include: teaching and learning with digital technologies; and the influence of international organizations on public education policies.
