Bárbara Vilamarim do Alvar de Carvalho holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Sciences from the University of Minho, with a specialization in Pedagogical Supervision in Mathematics Teaching, and a degree in Mathematics Teaching from the same university. She is a secondary school teacher at the Camilo Castelo Branco School Group. She participated in congresses with articles and presentations related to the theme of her master’s thesis, “Collaborative work as a means of developing the didactic knowledge of Mathematics Teachers in the subject of Combinatorial Analysis”. She is the coordinator of the Department of Exact, Experimental Sciences and Technology and representative of the AFC. She has been an interlocutor of the OPMUSA project of her group, since 2014, in collaboration with the University of Porto.
