Daniela Pedrosa is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém. She was a junior researcher (CEECIND/00986/2017, with the project “Self and Co-regulation in e-Learning of Computer Programming for Students and Teachers”) at the University of Aveiro and integrated member of the Research Center on Didactics and Technology in the Training of Trainers (CIDTFF/UA). Associated researcher at the Portuguese Open University within the scope of the WAY project.
She holds a PhD in Didactics of Science and Technology with specialization in Didactics of Informatics by Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD) (2017). Completed a Postdoctoral program at UTAD in 2021. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Educational Sciences with a specialization in Educational and Communication Technologies from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences – University of Coimbra. She coordinated, together with the responsible researchers, the SCReLProg project “Self and co-regulation in e-Learning of computer programming” (2018-2022) funded by the Portuguese Foundation of Science and Technology (FCT).
She has carried out research in areas associated with self-regulation and co-regulation of learning, immersive learning, distance learning (e-learning), technology-supported learning, formative assessment, teacher training, and research and intervention methodologies.
