Salomé Simões is a doctoral student in Education (Administration and Educational Policies branch) at the University of Aveiro, Master in Psychosocial Intervention with Children and Young People at Risk, at the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu (IPV). She has a Degree in Social Communication, from the IPV, Degree in Basic Education – 1. º Cycle, from the Superior Institute of Educational Sciences, and a Bachelor in Primary Education Teachers from the IPV.

She has been a teacher at the 1st CEB since 1989. She currently works as Deputy Director at the Canas de Senhorim School Group in Nelas.
