{"id":2369,"date":"2023-10-24T11:07:10","date_gmt":"2023-10-24T10:07:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lead.uab.pt\/way-en\/?post_type=element&#038;p=2369"},"modified":"2023-10-24T11:09:59","modified_gmt":"2023-10-24T10:09:59","slug":"thiago-freires","status":"publish","type":"element","link":"https:\/\/lead.uab.pt\/way-en\/conhecer\/thiago-freires\/","title":{"rendered":"Thiago Freires"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Thiago Freires<\/strong> is a researcher at the Centre for Research and Intervention in Education (CIIE) of the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCEUP), under an individual CEEC position (2022.06800.CEECIND). He holds a PhD (2019) and Master\u2019s (2011) in Education Sciences from the University of Porto and a Degree in Languages (Portuguese \/ English) (2009) from the University of S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In recent years, he has collaborated in several (inter)national projects focused on issues of formal education, including higher education. His doctoral research targeted School\u2019s meanings, in light of educational paths of young people coming from contexts susceptible to vulnerable situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, at CIIE, he is one of the coordinators of the Community of Research Practices (CoPin) IDEAFor \u2013 Identities, Democracy, School, Administration and Training. He is also a member of JEDI \u2013 Young People, Education, Diversity and Innovation CoPin. Morevover, he is part of the COST action GRADE (CA21141) \u2013 Grassroots of Digital Europe: from Historic to Contemporary Cultures of Creative Computing. He is a junior researcher in the Jean Monnet Network CitEdEV &#8211; Citizenship Education in the context of European Values and a member of the ERASMUS+ project DITE &#8211; Diverse Internationalisation of Teacher Education.
